It's that time of the year again - preparations are already underway for the 2015 British Motocross Grand Prix. We can't wait to see the like of Antonio Cairoli battle against American import Ryan Villopoto - on one of Europe's favourite GP circuits.
With it's unparalleled viewing, we once again welcome you to fill the gorgeous English countryside (situated in a national park) for round 7 of the MXGP World Championship. We'll not only have the Exciting MX2 and MXGP classes, but a whole host of support racing, with EMX125, Honda 150, EMX250 and the WMX Women’s World Championship - plenty to keep you busy over the weekend.
Every year we work hard to bring costs down and put that across to you, the people who make this sport what it is. Because of that, we've managed to create a deal we think is the best yet, not just for our event but possibly in all of Europe! For just £40 you can get yourself a weekend adult ticket - and just £10 for the young motocross enthusiasts that are the future of our sport. We'll once again be offering the ultimate upgrade experience to your GP weekend with our VIP packages - full of great benefits. With such a great price for a weekend ticket, evening entertainment and camping just a small walk from the track, 2015 is a better year than any to come down for a full weekend of racing – pitch up from Friday 2pm.
A full list of prices can be found on our website - but hurry, we've had to limit these great offers to the first 1500 tickets, and ending on the 6th of January. Don't worry, we'll still be offering online discounts compared to buying on the day.
Steve Dixon, British GP Promoter :
“Matterley has hosted more GP’s in the last 20 years than any other track in the UK. Stability was always my goal with the British GP, and having won 3 out of 4 “best track awards” as voted for by the riders, it goes to show the effort put in by the people involved in this GP and the passion they have for the sport. We're happy to continue our partnership with Youthstream as they strive to deliver our sport at the highest level. Not one to stand on our laurels we’re looking to improve the track and infrastructure for internal traffic for 2015. All of this while continuing to deliver bargains for the fans – and set the standard among the world championship series, whilst maintaining the relationship with being in a National Park. I feel proud to have brought this event that is my passion to my hometown of Winchester, where I grew up riding motorbikes. Looking back it's pretty special."
We can’t wait to see you this 23rd and 24th May, we hope you’ll stay for the weekend to get the most out of the British GP. Our fingers are crossed hoping for good weather, but either way we know it’ll be a great weekend full of unmissable racing.
