On Sunday 6th November the final round of the 2011 ACU Luscombe Suzuki Leeds British Sidecar Trials Championship took place. The final round of the ten round championship was held at the Merle Morewood Peak Trial, organised by the Sheffield and Hallamshire MC. Robin and Sam Luscombe took the title in the Expert Class, while Daryl Dale and Harriet Shore took the honours in the Intermediates.
Going into the final event of the year the Luscombe pairing held the lead over Rupert and Chris Kimber. The Kimbers took the event win but it wasn’t enough to take the title from the Luscombe pairing. Third place in the Expert class went to Lee Granby and Les Ashby.
In the Intermdiate Class the Championship win went to Daryl Dale and Harriet Shore took the title ahead of Tony Crabtree and Jamie Howe, with Peter Dale and Barry Pocock in third place. The Clubman Class was headed by David Tuck and Steve Chandler. Second place went to Ali and Amelia Haigh and third place went to Andy Scrivens and Martin Lawford.
