The Eastern Centre is pleased to announce that we will be introducing electronic transponder timing and lap scoring from the start of the 2012 motocross season.
After consultation with organising clubs, the decision was made to use the MYLAPS (formerly AMB) system, in use by many other Centres in the UK. Apparently we are the first Centre to purchase under the new MyLaps/HS Sports/ACU joint venture that was set up to encourage the use of electronic timing throughout the sport.
The Centre has purchased all of the equipment, including laptops, printer, decoder, software, generator, and all the associated loops, cables, and other bits and bobs to keep the system up and running.
