Maxxis Heads to Milton Malsor for Round 4
This Sunday round four of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship will be heading to Milton Malsor for the ACU Events backed round of the championship. Round four of the championship will mark the half-way point of the championship before a summer break. With the season already featuring some superb closer racing, Milton Malsor is sure to create more exciting racing.

Following this weekend’s Grand Prix of Valkenswaard where Aruand Tonus put together two quality results to finish in fourth place overall, ahead of team mate and current British Championship series leader Zach Osborne who finished in eight place overall. The pair will be looking to continue their fine run of form this weekend at Milton Park, while the likes of Elliott Banks-Browne, Mel Pocock and Bryan Mackenzie will all be looking to close the gap on the championship leaders around the short and exciting Milton Park Circuit.

In the MX1 class it is 2009 MX1 Champion Brad Anderson that currently leads the championship ahead of Kristian Whatley, by just 12 points. Anderson will be a tough rider to catch now that he has the advantage in the points table, but riders such as Whatley and the CCM pairing of Tom Church and Stephen Sword will looking to add the pressure in the title chase. Another rider to look out for is Martin Barr and Gert Krestinov after their strong results at Valkenswaard.

The meeting also includes the third round of the MXY2 championship, which is currently being led by Jordan Divall ahead of Ryan Houghton and Adam Sterry in third place. The action will begin at 9am on Sunday Morning for the MX2 Qualification before the racing starts at 12:15pm. For more details go to either www.mxgb.co.uk or www.miltonmxpark.co.uk. The circuit can be found just off M1 at junction 15 and 15A.
