At a recent meeting of the main Quadcross organisers, Nora-MX, Quad Racing Scotland and the NETT club that make up the ACU Quadcross sub committee it was decided to send a team to the European Quadcross of Nations team race at Sverepec, Slovakia on 25th / 26th September
The team is to be represented by one member of each club to be part financed by each club to help reduce the costs to the riders and that the team would travel together where possible to further reduce costs.
The team manager for the event will be Mr Martin Fletcher. The riders will be John Mitchell, Mark Watson and Carl Bunce.
The Quad sub committee were working on a decision taken earlier in the year not to seek support from the ACU MX budget prefering to inject the budgetted funding into the series TV production and aid the growth of the sport in the UK. The TV coverage includes adult and youth productions and have been shown on Sky throughout the season.
