The ACU is pleased to announce that competition licences for 2024 will be held at the 2023 prices. Renewals will open on 13th November, and we urge all members to think about getting their renewals done as soon as possible after this date. Further information will be emailed out during the next couple of weeks, to all licence holders to remind them of what they need to do and to assist them in the renewal process.
There will be an announcement to all our organisers next week about the new procedure for club membership which will replace the current CMS system used this year. This will improve reporting for organisers and improve the process generally. Organisers and clubs are advised to export any data they wish to hold from the current CMS system via a download in the next couple of weeks as once the current CMS is switched off you won’t be able to download it.
Information will be sent to all organisers/clubs next week about the importance of completing your affiliation for 2024 as soon as possible when requested by the office as this will assist with the riders being able to purchase club membership and the seamless transition to licence application during the renewal process.
For those that are reading this that purchased one event licences in 2024 then please consider saving yourself money and administration effort for events by purchasing an annual licence for 2024. Day licence costs for 2024 have been confirmed at £20.
ACU General Secretary, Matthew Wear said “We have thought about the renewals and are very aware of the challenges to our licence holders and members who are experiencing increased costs with their day-to-day life activities. We have taken the decision to hold licence fees for 2024 to help and support our members with their motorcycle sport activities”.
We thank all our members, licence holders, organisers and sponsors and partners for all their hard work and support during 2023 and we look forward to working together for a successful year of motorcycle sport activity in 2024.
